Pharmacy UGM – Dr. Amirah Mohd Gazzali from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) gave a highly informative public lecture at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event was held on September 13, 2023, in the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s APSLC Building’s Auditorium Hall on the 8th level. The lecture, titled “Advanced Drug Delivery System and Standardization of Malaysian Herbal Plants,” drew an enthusiastic audience of hundreds, including students, faculty members, and pharmaceutical professionals eager to gain insights from one of the leading experts in the field.
Dr. Amirah Mohd Gazzali covered a variety of topics in this fascinating talk, including the standardization of Malaysian herbal plants and sophisticated medicine delivery technologies. She imparted her vast expertise on the management and preservation of Malaysia’s priceless herbal plants as well as the most recent developments in novel medication delivery technologies, which can increase therapeutic effectiveness. In addition to giving the audience a thorough understanding of the subject, the presentation motivated UGM students and researchers to keep developing pharmaceutical sciences innovations that meet social demands. UGM thinks that this occasion will mark a key turning point in Indonesian pharmaceutical science and encourage closer USM and UGM pharmaceutical collaborations.
