Pharmacy UGM – Dr. Amirah Mohd Gazzali from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) gave a highly informative public lecture at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event was held on September 13, 2023, in the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s APSLC Building’s Auditorium Hall on the 8th level. Prof. Teruna Siahaan from University of Kansas Delivers Compelling Lecture on “Research Ethics and Design” at Faculty of Pharmacy UGM

Pharmacy UGM – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada had the honor of welcoming renowned academic Prof. Teruna Siahaan from the University of Kansas on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Auditorium Hall APSLC Faculty of Pharmacy, for a stimulating presentation on “Research Ethics and Design”. Prof. Siahaan examined the complex interplay between research ethics and design approaches, shedding light on their crucial roles in forming ethical research practices and improving the quality of research outputs. Prof. Siahaan’s expertise was honed during a distinguished career. His advice inspired the audience, which was mostly made up of pharmacy teachers and students, to conduct research projects that adhere to strict ethical standards and rigorous scientific criteria. Invited Lecture on Exposure to Global Competency: Ethics and Leadership

UGM’s Pharmacy – Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University held an Invited Lecture on “Global Competency Presentation,” on May 1, 2019. This time, PKG was organized by inviting undergraduate pharmacy students from Class of 2017. It is expected that this activity will improve the students’ abilities and skills, especially in the aspects of ethics and leadership.

The educational curriculum of Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy at UGM which has been adapted to the outcome-based education requires the active role of the students in the learning process. One of the facilities provided by the Faculty to support this event is the implementation of PKG. The most important part of PKG is to accelerate the students’ insight through knowledge sharing and life experiences of the speakers invited by the Study Program – by considering an excellent track record in their fields. read more
