Indonesian International Student Mobility Award has just opened a newly launched scheme which is the Professional Program (Entrepreneur) (IISMA-E), a Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for entrepreneurship program at top Universities overseas. Undergraduate and vocational students could spend six to seven weeks at the overseas university partner to study, experience the host country’s culture and undertake entrepreneurial assignments to hone their skills.
The 2024 International Summer Course in Natural Cosmetic: Exploring Indonesian Beauty, offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, leverages Indonesia’s rich natural resources and ongoing “Back to Nature” trend to provide an in-depth study of natural cosmetics development.
This immersive program will be held in a hybrid format from 15th July to 2nd August 2024 in Yogyakarta.
The three-week course program will explore the use of indigenous materials, technological advancements in production, and market dynamics, guided by experts from academia and the cosmetic industry.
Aruna Sahwahita (ARUS) merupakan salah satu kegiatan Departemen Sosial Masyarakat yang bekerjasama dengan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI), Panitia Dies Natalis Fakultas Farmasi Farmasi UGM, Jaringan Mahasiswa Kesehatan Indonesia (JMKI), dan Keluarga Mahasiswa Muslim Farmasi (KMMF). Aruna Sahwahita dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu, 23 September 2023 di Fakultas Farmasi UGM. Acara ini meliputi kegiatan donor darah sesuai regulasi yang telah dikeluarkan PMI. Selain itu, kami juga membagikan informasi seputar donor darah pada akun instagram @aruna.sahwahita yang dikemas dalam bentuk quiz, bingo, dan reels untuk menarik minat kaum muda melakukan kegiatan donor darah.
Budidaya Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) merupakan salah satu kegiatan Departemen Sosial Masyarakat dimana kami bersama mahasiswa Fakultas Farmasi bersama-sama menjadi volunteer untuk melakukan budidaya TOGA di desa mitra. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Agustus 2023 di Desa Kaliwanglu Kulon, Pakem, Sleman. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan mengenai penanaman dan pemanfaatan TOGA, mencetak booklet TOGA yang berisikan cara pemanfaatan dan juga khasiat yang terkandung dalam tanaman tersebut, menanam tanaman TOGA yang dapat tumbuh pada lahan yang tersedia, mengajarkan kepada warga di Desa Mitra mengenai apa itu TOGA dan bagaimana cara merawat tanaman tersebut agar dapat dimanfaatkan minimal untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari di rumah.

Pharmacy UGM – Dr. Amirah Mohd Gazzali from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) gave a highly informative public lecture at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event was held on September 13, 2023, in the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s APSLC Building’s Auditorium Hall on the 8th level. The lecture, titled “Advanced Drug Delivery System and Standardization of Malaysian Herbal Plants,” drew an enthusiastic audience of hundreds, including students, faculty members, and pharmaceutical professionals eager to gain insights from one of the leading experts in the field.
Pharmacy UGM – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada had the honor of welcoming renowned academic Prof. Teruna Siahaan from the University of Kansas on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Auditorium Hall APSLC Faculty of Pharmacy, for a stimulating presentation on “Research Ethics and Design”. Prof. Siahaan examined the complex interplay between research ethics and design approaches, shedding light on their crucial roles in forming ethical research practices and improving the quality of research outputs. Prof. Siahaan’s expertise was honed during a distinguished career. His advice inspired the audience, which was mostly made up of pharmacy teachers and students, to conduct research projects that adhere to strict ethical standards and rigorous scientific criteria. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada demonstrated its dedication to fostering ethical scholarship and excellence in pharmaceutical research through this event.
